Production Manager (Job #1208)

Monaco Enterprises, Inc., a Spokane based manufacturer of fire, mass notification and emergency management systems, is seeking an experienced Production Manager who will be ultimately responsible for the smooth running of all production and the quality of output. The ideal candidate will have the ability to direct personnel towards maximum performance. Your day will be made up of decision making and problem solving.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate all activities of production to include purchasing, documentation, quality assurance, production scheduling, manufacturing, test, stockroom, and shipping.
  • Coordinate activities between Production, Engineering, Customer Service, Product Support, Accounting, and Human Resources Departments.
  • Initiate and maintain processes and procedures that minimize manufacturing costs through effective utilization of manpower, equipment, facilities, materials, and capital ensuring production schedules are achieved.
  • Write and deliver employee performance appraisals and correct deficient behavior through the proper use of motivational techniques and disciplinary actions.
  • Write and maintain procedures for manufacturing related tasks.
  • Maintain a safe working environment in keeping with good practices and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain production related ERP system data and an accurate inventory of materials and equipment.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science Degree (equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may be considered).
  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a managerial or supervisory role.
  • A good grasp of manufacturing concepts.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong leadership abilities, excellent organizational and planning skills, and ability to logically solve complex organizational and technical problems.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • A record of reliable attendance and punctuality.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience in electronics manufacturing, knowledge of electronic assembly processes, and understanding of CE and RoHs requirements related to electronics.
  • Understanding of ERP systems.
  • Knowledge of electronic and radio principles.
  • Production Management experience.

Software Test Technician (Job #1102)

Monaco Enterprises, Inc., a Spokane based manufacturer of fire, mass notification and emergency management systems, is seeking a Software Test Technician as we expand our engineering team. This challenging position will provide the opportunity to work in a professional and collaborative environment testing the functionality and reliability of software for issues and inconsistencies.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Setup of test environments including basic Windows OS, networks and databases (Access/SQL)
  • Ability to grasp business requirements and processes to write test plans, scripts, validation steps
  • Assists software engineers in the diagnosis and replication of software/firmware issues
  • Execute software application testing: functionality, performance and regression testing
  • Ability to discover the cause of issues and identify any relevant trends
  • Document and summarize the test outcome and provide reports on test results
  • Effective written and verbal communication with engineering team

Qualifications:

  • A.A. Degree in Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • Minimum of 2+ years’ experience as a Test Technician or related data processing experience
  • Strong technical knowledge of PCs and custom software applications
  • Understanding of software test procedures and methodologies
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
  • Strong writing and verbal skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate in a team environment
  • Experience with Electronics and/or Firmware testing is a plus
